When the club started up a local lotto to raise funds for the Club's Development it was never foreseen that it would take so long for the jackpot to be won. The first draw took place on March 17th 2007 and two years and 3 1/2 months later one person finally matched the four lucky numbers from a possible twenty eight. The maximum jackpot allowed of €20,000 was reached last December and having rolled over thirty one times, with many close calls, last night at the draw in Clancy's Bar the winning numbers finally came up. Graham Matthews of Kenry Court, Pallaskenry, is the proud owner of the winning ticket and we congratulate him and thank all those who have supported the club and hope they will continue to do so.
