U14 Girls Football
Athea 1-04 Killulta Gaels 5-01.

We finally had our first win of the season after been so close on previous games, every member of the panel gave 200% to get this win and its so hard to pick anyone who stood out as from the 1 to 18 were great, our backs molly, ciara and ashley fought to the end to make sure the athea team did not get too many scores and saoirse had many great saves , shauna & louise played their part feeding the ball to julie and emer who were uncatchable. Our regina, jesse, ciara, grace, niamh, aoife, lauran and emma fought against very strong backs from athea and a very strong goalie from Athea who took alot more saves than the final scores but our determined team kept trying.

Well done everyone and thanks to all parents who travelled to this and all previous matches their support is much appreciated.
